Walker-Sparrow House

The Walker-Sparrow Cabin, erected in 1849, lay concealed beneath clapboard siding along Silver Spring Drive until its relocation to Old Falls Village in December 2003. This historical treasure exemplifies pioneer ingenuity, boasting massive Tamarack logs weighing an impressive 15 tons. The cabin's basement, crafted from fieldstone, features rocks predominantly sourced from the surrounding fields, many composed of solid granite. Its construction, characterized by half-dovetailed corners, reflects the distinctive German style, infusing the structure with a timeless appeal. Today, the cabin stands proudly at Old Falls Village, inviting visitors to journey back in time and immerse themselves in the rich heritage of Menomonee Falls' early settlers. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this remarkable piece of history firsthand!
