Carriage House

The Carriage House, a cherished relic of Menomonee Falls' history, has a rich and storied past. Originally gifted by Mr. Harry Bruskevitz and relocated to Old Falls Village in June of 1972, its primary purpose was to house antique carriages, preserving a bygone era of transportation. The Village's contribution of $600 facilitated its move, underscoring the community's commitment to preserving its heritage.

Within its walls, the Carriage House safeguards a treasure trove of artifacts, including a horse-drawn carriage, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's equestrian legacy. Additionally, it once housed a vintage fire engine, further enhancing its historical significance as a repository of Menomonee Falls' past.

Over the years, the Carriage House has sparked imagination and intrigue, with various proposals emerging for its adaptive reuse. From envisioning it as a firehouse to contemplating its transformation into a blacksmith shop or even a distillery, the community's innovative spirit seeks to breathe new life into this venerable structure. These proposals reflect not only a desire to honor the Carriage House's heritage but also a commitment to ensuring its continued relevance and vitality within the community.
